I survived Teacher Appreciation Day

0815 h: Drop off drinks, plates, cutlery, etc. at the school
0900-1100 h: Evaluate oral presentations at work
1120 h: Pick up coffee and accoutrements for teacher luncheon
1130 h: Help set up teacher luncheon at Nikita's school
1200 h: Help student representatives from preschool and kindergarten classes give flowers to teachers (they can't read the tags!), and return them to class
1215-1400 h: Help supervise Nikita's kindergarten class
1415 h: Bring Nikita home
1500-1700 h: Evaluate oral presentations at work
1530 h: Arrive home for Nikita's violin lesson

Verdict: I would rather organize ten school events instead of supervise a kindergarten class for two hours. But I am particularly proud of the fact that I didn't lose any of the children in my charge during the flower distribution.
