Three years later, Ivan got to play host. Below is the edited write-up in his voice.
How time flies!
*****
I was so excited to welcome Cornelius to my home! We had a big weekend ahead of us. So when we got home on Friday, I urged Cornelius to snack on some cheese. He loved it!
Cornelius also enjoyed watching me prepare for my piano lesson.
In the evening, he attended my fencing lesson, but declined to eat pizza afterwards.
On Saturday, Cornelius got to meet some of my friends at the library.
We also picked out some books together. Tintin is his favorite!
After the library, we rode to the school to help set up the Kids' Activities for Christkindlmarkt (German Christmas market). I made sure Cornelius was buckled up!
The school looked beautiful for Christkindlmarkt. We also had a great time assembling sample crafts, eating hot dogs and cakes, and drinking mulled cider.
We unwound Saturday evening by playing "catch". Cornelius wasn't caught every time, but he was a good sport about it.
Sunday was more relaxing. Cornelius went to the store with me to pick up bread, produce, and Goldfish. He really likes Goldfish, just like I do.
On the way home, we stopped by my favorite park to bike and hang out in the playground.
I hope Cornelius had as much fun as I did having him over!
