Ivan's milestones of the past 24 hours

• Going downstairs, forward and without holding onto anything. This includes the cement stairs in front of the house. Yes, I hold my breath every time he goes downstairs.
• Fetching books for me to read to him. Last night, we read three.
• Speaking more and more - to the point that I can't keep up with his growing vocabulary. One thing to note, however, is that he says "No" to me and "Nyet" to everyone else in the house.
