And me?

Although I have two younger brothers, raising two boys makes me realize how hard it is to be a younger sibling. Yesterday, Nikita became the 1st Grade Chess Champion of Massachusetts. As a reward, Igor bought him a much-desired Lego set, and I told Nikita I would make him a Boston Cream Pie, his favorite cake. I was speechless, however, when Ivan asked, "And me?"

This morning, I told Ivan we had to get up because Nikita had school, Mama and Papa had work. Again, I was speechless at the reply, "And me?"

Thanks to my colleague Jane, I decided I'm going to make Ivan pancakes tonight while Nikita is at a chess lesson. Because he's special, too.
