Preparing for Maine

Since I will be out of town (and out of internet reach) for two weeks, below is a modified version of "What's currently in my..." post.

To knit: a Baby Surprise Jacket for Nikita; Suzanne's Baby Booties to complete the Maggie Righetti-inspired layette (recipient still to be determined).
To read: Introduction to Poetry by Mark Van Doren; A Short History of Byzantium by John Julius Norwich; and The Best Maine Stories edited by Sanford Phippen.
To listen to: Family Music Party by Trout Fishing in America; Disney's Favorite Children's Songs Vol. 2; Anthology by Nina Simone; a Cole Porter mix; Fantasia soundtrack; Suenos Liquedos by Mana; The Beatles 1962-1966; and Quelqu'un M'a Dit by Carla Bruni (Igor would never forgive me if I left this at home).

Completely finished (e.g., sewed and weaved the ends) of Nikita's earflap hat. Looks really cute.
