Amazing how quickly 6 weeks can go by, but here I am, back at MIT. I have to say, the break wasn't very relaxing. It started and ended with a horrendous cold (I currently have a very husky voice), with diarrhea in the middle for good measure. If I didn't have a family to care for, I would book a trip to the Yoga Retreat in the Bahamas for spring break.
My only experience with the Super Bowl last night was watching the sexagenarian Rolling Stones perform the half-time show. Nikita seemed to enjoy them - at least he danced (but he danced more vigorously to Bollywood music in NYC). It's amazing to think they could've performed at the first Super Bowl. Is this a sign of how mainstream the Stones are, or how hip the Super Bowl is?
Otherwise, the TV was turned to a fantastic channel I recently discovered: the Classic Arts Showcase. Clips of classical music (some jazz), dance, and films. And no commercials. Check it out!
