Mangling songs

One thing that has really surprised me about motherhood is my new-found ability to make up tunes and songs. One of these days, I'll have to record the new tunes. But I've also made up some lyrics to old tunes; this has no doubt been inspired by Igor, who does the same. For example, "Step in Time" from Mary Poppins sometimes becomes "Stupid Time" (thanks to Igor). And Dunkin Donuts, which Nikita loves (in particular, the Boston Cream Pie) get an ironic treatment to the theme song of "Bob the Builder":

Dunkin Donuts, can we eat it?
Dunkin Donuts, no we can't!

There is also a song that my mother learned from her father. Here is the original:

I have two hands, the left and the right.
Hold them up high - so clean and bright.
Clap them softly: one, two, three.
Clean little hands are good to see.

I sometimes add limbs and digits:

I have two hands, and fifteen legs,
thirty-five fingers, and sixty-five toes...
