I'm pregnant!

I guess this is another reason why I've been so bad with posts lately. I actually passed the 12-week mark two days ago, but I was waiting on the results of my Ultrascreen test before broadcasting the news.

Risk for Down's Syndrome: 1 in 4401 (down from 1 in 221 pre-test, based on my age)
Risk for Trisomies 13 & 18: 1 in 6240

Compare these odds with the 1:200 chance of miscarriage with amniocentesis, and the 1:100 chance of miscarriage with CVS - I'm set.

The expected date of delivery (EDD) is 18 April 2007. But given that Nikita was born nearly 3 weeks early, I'm taking this EDD with a grain of salt.
