No more knitting, reading, or studying Russian during my commute. I now have to DRIVE to work! Perhaps I should go down to Symphony Hall to pick up my study CD for Gospel Night 2005 (I'm soooooooo psyched to be doing this again, especially with Charles Floyd at the helm!). But it's such miserable weather outside...
Not much on the knitting end except a lot of thinking. Was making an I-cord for the Stupid Baby Bonnet, but instead decided to knit a long seed stitch swatch (no need to worry about coordinating colors!). Reading Mary Thomas's Knitting Book, which I'll probably buy because I've picked up a number of tips (and the drawings are corny but cute).
Also, after long deliberation, I have decided to make two classic sweaters for Nikita: the Wonderful Wallaby in Knitpick's Shine Twist (Seaside vs. Harvest?) and the Baby Surprise Jacket in Plymouth Encore (based on this). I couldn't make sense of the pattern for the latter in Elizabeth Zimmerman's Knitting Workshop. Thank goodness I found this link and the accompanying Yahoo group.
Back to packing my office. I have stacks of papers on my desk that I'm organizing into files. Ugh.
