Updates

Nikita's temperature finally went down yesterday. No need for Tylenol all day. But now, we may have a stomach flu! Some diarrhea and crying all night, perhaps due to stomach spasms. Nikita hasn't gotten sick since he was born, so I guess we're getting them all in now.

Finished knitting the Stupid Baby Bonnet from Knitting in Plain English. Just need to weave in the ends and get a ribbon to coordinate with the cranberry color. For fun, I tried it on Nikita's head. Of course, it was much too small for him, but it convinced me to use the same yarn to make him a hat with flap ears from Knitting for Baby.

Am continuing The Time Traveler's Wife. Before, I thought the book raises some interesting issues regarding fate and destiny. Now, I'm worried about how manipulative the author might be getting in order to keep this 500 page book going. Why 500 pages when a shorter book will suffice? Especially for such a light read (although admittedly this book is not as bad as Middlesex). Anyway, we'll see.
